roasted tomatoes, white beans & garlic

over pasta or

a big slice of toasted bread

or all by itself

source, 4 servings

olive oil, 2 lbs halved cherry tomatoes, 1 peeled bulb garlic, kosher salt+pepper+red pepper flakes, 1 can rinsed & drained white beans, 1/4 c basil

roast all but beans & basil in a well-oiled pan, 400 F, 20 minutes; mash some, add beans & more oil, bake 5 minutes; broil; top with basil
