strawberries have more
than 200 seeds, and they’re
not a real berry
1 c strawberries mashed slightly with 1/3 c brown sugar; 1/2 c olive oil, 1/3 c brown sugar, 1/2 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1/2 t kosher salt, 1 c flour, 1 t powder
mix all but berries + sugar, pour batter into oiled skillet, add berries, 350 F, 25 minutes

Ok…this cake was unbelievable. The olive oil And salt bring the flavors together so nicely. Definitely something I’ll make again AND double (or triple).
